Dialog with an Atheist

Through the wonderful world of blogging, an Atheist blogger, Ryan Lanham, has reached out to me looking for “a public discussion with you because I seem to
agree with almost nothing that you believe.”  After a brief exchange of emails, we have agreed to host this on my blog.  You will find the link on the top of this site labeled “Dialog with an Atheist“.  Please come back regularly can check it out.  We will be updating it as often as possible.

The first questions Ryan has asked is as follows:  There are billions of stars in our Milky Way galaxy, and a billion galaxies (at least) that science knows of.  One thing I have always wondered is why all this trouble for little old us?   Isn’t  it just a bit arrogant to think all this is about us?
